Stats & Training
Attack and Sp. Def carry most of Gallade's stat budget. Defense's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 3 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
When trying to protect someone, it extends its elbows as if they were swords and fights savagely.
Because it can sense what its foe is thinking, its attacks burst out first, fast, and fierce.
Gallade Weakness
Gallade's Psychic/Fighting typing leaves it vulnerable to Flying, Ghost, and Fairy. Gallade's special bulk (base 115 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Gallade Best Moveset
Gallade doesn't rely on pure speed. Assault Vest gives it a special bulk boost with no status moves allowed to stay healthy, and Adamant nature still pushes offense. Close Combat and Ground coverage keep the pressure on while spread EVs balance power and survivability.

How to Get Gallade in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
No wild encounters for Gallade. The 3-stage chain runs through Ralts, which you can catch at moderate rates from the locations below. Evolve through a special method once you've got the levels.
Gallade Guide
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, we rate Gallade C-Tier: a niche pick in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon's meta. At 518 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Close Combat with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Gallade can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade. That's 618 BST, up from 518. The stat redistribution often changes its best role. Mega Stone required, one per battle.
Steadfast raises Speed one stage upon flinching. That's the one you want on Gallade. Justified is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Sharpness works too if your team needs something different.
Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Gallade is a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
