Stats & Training
Terrakion's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Sp. Atk trails, 5 stats clear the bar. Near-impossible to catch and worth 3 Attack EVs, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
It has phenomenal power. It will mercilessly crush anyone or anything that bullies small Pokémon.
In Unovan legend, Terrakion battled against humans in an effort to protect other Pokémon.
Terrakion Weakness
Terrakion's Rock/Fighting typing leaves it vulnerable to Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic, Steel, and Fairy. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Psychic, Steel, Fairy |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Normal, Fire, Poison, Bug, Rock, Dark |
In Sword & Shield, Runerigus's Poltergeist hits Terrakion for 39-46%. Lunatone's Psychic also KOs at 88-104%.

Terrakion Guide
For the Sword & Shield meta, At 580 BST, Terrakion is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a sweeper. Protect with Lum Berry is the standard set.
Justified raises Attack one stage upon taking damage from a dark move. That's the one you want on Terrakion. It's the only ability Terrakion has.
In Sword & Shield, Terrakion fills the sweeper role. It's leaning toward the physical side (base 129 Attack). Base 108 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Sword & Shield, run Protect, Rock Slide, Sacredsword, and Swords Dance on Terrakion. Protect is the most common pick at 23% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
