Stats & Training
Simipour's built around mixed offense. Speed leads the charge, Defense pays for it. Moderately hard to find, worth 2 Speed EVs. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
The high-pressure water expelled from its tail is so powerful, it can destroy a concrete wall.
It prefers places with clean water. When its tuft runs low, it replenishes it by siphoning up water with its tail.
Simipour Weakness
Simipour is weak to Electric and Grass. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. Simipour leans offensive (base 98 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.
| Damage | Types |

Simipour Guide
In X & Y, Simipour has a 498 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in X & Y's meta. It works best as a pivot. Ice Beam with Aguavberry is the standard set.
In X & Y, Simipour's biggest threats include Jolteon (Electric) and Exeggutor (Grass), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Simipour's base 101 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Gluttony is the go-to ability for Simipour. It makes the Pokémon eat any held Berry triggered by low HP below 1/2 its max HP. Its hidden ability Torrent can work in specific setups.
In X & Y, Simipour fills the pivot role. It's a special attacker with base 98 Sp. Atk. Base 101 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In X & Y, the best way to handle Simipour: Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Electric and Grass-type attackers hit hardest.
Game Availability
