  • In X & Y, Musharna works as a tank with 487 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in X & Y's meta. Psychic with Leftovers is the standard set.

  • In X & Y, Musharna's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Chandelure (Ghost), and Tyranitar (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. At base 29 Speed, Musharna won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.

  • Forewarn is the go-to ability for Musharna. It reveals the opponents' strongest move upon entering battle. Its hidden ability Telepathy can work in specific setups. Synchronize is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.

  • Musharna is a special attacker with base 107 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 29 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the tank role.
