Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Machamp's spread. It leans physical with Attack out front. And you'll get 3 Attack stat exp per KO for it. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
It quickly swings its four arms to rock its opponents with ceaseless punches and chops from all angles.
It uses its four powerful arms to pin the limbs of its foe, then throws the victim over the horizon.

Machamp Guide
In Gold & Silver, Machamp works as a wallbreaker with 505 BST behind it. A-Tier on our list: a strong pick in Gold & Silver's competitive scene. Crosschop with Leftovers is the standard set.
Machamp is a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the wallbreaker role.
In Gold & Silver, the best way to handle Machamp: Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Special attackers bypass its physical bulk.
For Gold & Silver, the core moveset is Crosschop, Rock Slide, Earthquake, and Curse. Crosschop leads at 25% usage. Curse lets it set up before sweeping.
