Ledian Weakness
Type-wise, Ledian takes extra damage from Rock, Fire, Electric, Ice, and Flying. Watch out for Rock attacks, those deal 4x damage. Ground moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Ledian's special bulk (base 110 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

In Ruby & Sapphire, Ledian's biggest threats include Aerodactyl (Rock), Charizard (Fire), and Raikou (Electric), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Aerodactyl is the most dangerous since Rock moves deal 4x damage. Ice and Flying-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
In Ruby & Sapphire, Ledyba evolves into Ledian at level 18. Ledian is the fully evolved form.
Honestly, in Ruby & Sapphire Ledian is a tough sell at 390 BST. Plenty of stronger Bug/Flying options exist. Fun pick, not a practical one.

Swarm is the go-to ability for Ledian. It strengthens bug moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. Its hidden ability Iron Fist can work in specific setups. Early Bird is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
