Stats & Training
Sp. Atk leads and Defense gets almost nothing. That's Jynx's stat line in a nutshell. 3 stats sit in respectable range, but the spread is brutal. Tough to catch and yields 2 Sp. Atk stat exp.
It rocks its body rhythmically. It appears to alter the rhythm depending on how it is feeling.
It speaks a language similar to that of humans. However, it seems to use dancing to communicate.
Jynx Weakness
Jynx is weak to Fire, Bug, Rock, Ghost, Dark, and Steel. Jynx's special bulk (base 95 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Fire, Bug, Rock, Ghost, Dark, Steel |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Ice, Psychic |
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move
- Special stat split into Sp.Atk and Sp.Def
