  • For Yellow, we rate Hypno C-Tier: a niche pick in Yellow's meta. At 525 BST, it fits the support role. Thunder Wave anchors the moveset.

  • Hypno has no type weaknesses, making it hard to counter through typing alone. Focus on status moves, entry hazards, or raw neutral damage to take it down.

  • At base 67 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Hypno is a special attacker with base 115 Special. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a support.

  • For Yellow, Hypno has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. -type attackers hit hardest.

  • In Yellow, use Hypno as a support. Special attacks are the main output. Not the fastest, Psychic is the primary attack.
