Stats & Training
Raw HP carries Greedent's bulk more than the defenses do. Speed barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A moderately hard to find Greedy Pokemon that yields 2 HP EVs on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
If it spots a berry tree, it will immediately go to gather berries without a sideways glance—even if it’s in the middle of a battle.
This Pokémon makes off with heaps of fallen berries by wrapping them in its tail, which is roughly twice the length of its body.
Greedent Weakness
Greedent is weak to Fighting. On the flip side, it's immune to Ghost-type moves entirely. Greedent's overall bulk (120/95/75) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

Greedent Guide
For Scarlet & Violet, we rate Greedent C-Tier: a niche pick in Scarlet & Violet's meta. At 460 BST, it fits the trick room role. Bodypress with Sitrus Berry is the standard set.
In Scarlet & Violet, Greedent's biggest threats include Conkeldurr (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. At base 20 Speed, Greedent won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Cheek Pouch is the go-to ability for Greedent. It restores HP upon eating a Berry, in addition to the Berry's effect. Its hidden ability Gluttony can work in specific setups.
Base 20 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Greedent is a physical attacker with base 95 Attack. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a trick room.
In Scarlet & Violet, the best way to handle Greedent: Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Fighting-type attackers hit hardest.
