Attack and Sp. Def carry most of Gallade's stat budget. Defense's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 3 Attack EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
When trying to protect someone, it extends its elbows as if they were swords and fights savagely.
Because it can sense what its foe is thinking, its attacks burst out first, fast, and fierce.
Gallade Weakness
Gallade's Psychic/Fighting typing leaves it vulnerable to Flying, Ghost, and Fairy. Gallade's special bulk (base 115 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Out of 2 evolutions from Kirlia, Gallade comes from the item path. The method you use determines which form you end up with. Breed through Ralts to get eggs. How to Evolve
Legends: Z-A Gallade Best Moveset
Lum Berry buys the setup turn. Gallade clicks Swords Dance, then starts cleaning with Psychocut and the remaining moves. Jolly nature with max Attack and Speed EVs makes sure nothing tanks a boosted hit comfortably.

How to Get Gallade in Legends: Z-A
Gallade isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Ralts from Ruby, Emerald, or Sword. The evolution path from Ralts to Gallade is covered in the steps below.
Gallade Guide
For Legends: Z-A, we rate Gallade B-Tier: a solid option in Legends: Z-A for the right team. At 518 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Psychocut with Lum Berry is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Gallade does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Gallade hits 618 BST.
Steadfast raises Speed one stage upon flinching. That's the one you want on Gallade. Justified is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Sharpness works too if your team needs something different.
Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Gallade is a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
