Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Fraxure's spread. It leans physical with Attack out front. And you'll get 2 Attack EVs per KO for it. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Since a broken tusk will not grow back, they diligently sharpen their tusks on river rocks after they’ve been fighting.
Their tusks can shatter rocks. Territory battles between Fraxure can be intensely violent.
Fraxure Weakness
Fraxure's Dragon typing leaves it vulnerable to Ice and Dragon. The Dragon typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Fraxure's Dragon typing only leaves 2 gaps to cover.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Ice, Dragon |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Water, Electric, Grass |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)

Moves
STAB runs through Draco Meteor and Outrage for the basics, but Fraxure's real strength is the 11-type coverage spread. Dark and Normal hit common defensive types, and the movepool keeps going.

Fraxure Guide
At 410 BST, Fraxure is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Haxorus before bringing it to any serious fight.
Fraxure gets Mold Breaker, Rivalry, and Unnerve. But Mold Breaker is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Fraxure is a physical attacker with base 117 Attack. Speed tells the real story. At base 67 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the cannon role.
Game Availability
Since Black & White, Fraxure has been obtainable in 8 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Fraxure has appeared steadily across every generation since.
