Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Fletchinder's spread. It leans mixed with Speed out front. And you'll get 2 Speed EVs per KO for it. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
From its beak, it expels embers that set the tall grass on fire. Then it pounces on the bewildered prey that pop out of the grass.
The hotter the flame sac on its belly, the faster it can fly, but it takes some time to get the fire going.
Fletchinder Weakness
Type-wise, Fletchinder takes extra damage from Rock, Water, and Electric. Watch out for Rock attacks, those deal 4x damage. Ground moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. It resists 6 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Rock |
| 2x (Weak) | Water, Electric |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Fighting, Steel, Fairy |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Grass, Bug |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground |

Breeding's the move. Quick Guard and Snatch give Fletchinder options it can't learn any other way, and Normal and Steel coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Overheat and Fire Blast. The egg moves push it further.

Fletchinder Guide

In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Fletchling evolves into Fletchinder at level 17. Fletchinder evolves into Talonflame at level 35. Fletchinder is a middle-stage evolution in the Fletchling line.
Flame Body is the go-to ability for Fletchinder. It has a 30% chance of burning attacking Pokémon on contact. Its hidden ability Gale Wings can work in specific setups.
Fletchinder is a physical attacker with base 73 Attack. Fragile, can't afford to take many hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 84 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many.
