Stats & Training
The stat budget goes to damage. Speed and Attack carry the offense, Sp. Atk doesn't even come close. A Beak Pokemon on a medium-fast 1M XP curve, worth 2 Speed EVs per KO.
Its long neck and elongated beak are ideal for catching prey in soil or water. It deftly moves this extended and skinny beak to pluck prey.
Fearow Weakness
Type-wise, Fearow takes extra damage from Electric, Ice, and Rock. Ground and Ghost moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. At base 100 Speed, Fearow outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Ice, Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Grass, Bug |
| 0x (Immune) | Ground, Ghost |
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move

Emerald Fearow Best Moveset
Prediction matters here. Choice Band means Fearow can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is raw power at the cost of move flexibility. Max Attack and Speed EVs with Keeneye back that up. The remaining moves prevents free switches.

Moves
Breeding's the move. Astonish and False Swipe give Fearow options it can't learn any other way, and Dark and Steel coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Hyper Beam and Sky Attack. The egg moves push it further.
