Stats & Training
Crawdaunt's built around physical offense. Attack leads the charge, Sp. Def pays for it. Common in the wild, worth 2 Attack EVs. Follows a standard growth curve.
Its temperament is rough and it loves to fight, but as soon as its pincers break off, it turns cowardly. It stays timid until they grow back.
Its pincers often fall off. Unlike with Crabrawler or Clauncher, the meat in its claws is utterly nasty and stinking.
Crawdaunt Weakness
Type-wise, Crawdaunt takes extra damage from Electric, Grass, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy. Psychic moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Crawdaunt's physical bulk (base 85 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Crawdaunt Best Moveset
Prediction matters here. Choice Band means Crawdaunt can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is raw power at the cost of move flexibility. Max Attack and Speed EVs with Adaptability back that up. Double STAB prevents free switches.

Crawdaunt Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Don't let Crawdaunt's 468 base stat total fool you. Adaptability is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier as a cannon. Aqua Jet with Choice Band is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Run Adaptability on Crawdaunt. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Crawdaunt also gets Hyper Cutter and Shell Armor, but they don't compare.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Crawdaunt fills the cannon role. It's a mixed attacker with base 120 Attack and 90 Sp. Atk. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, the core moveset is Aqua Jet, Knock Off, Crabhammer, and Crunch. Aqua Jet leads at 25% usage. Crabhammer provides reliable STAB damage.
