  • In HeartGold & SoulSilver, Banette has a 455 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in HeartGold & SoulSilver's meta. It works best as a cannon. Shadowclaw with Focus Sash is the standard set.

  • Mega Evolution isn't available in HeartGold & SoulSilver, but Banette does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Banette hits 555 BST.

  • In HeartGold & SoulSilver, Banette's biggest threats include Gengar (Ghost) and Houndoom (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
