58 Speed and 50-65 defenses are the cost of 165 Attack. The moveset demolishes anything it hits first, but AbilityMold Breaker ignoring abilities can't fix the fact that faster threats act before Rampardos. Either it knocks something out or goes down trying.

Rampardos Platinum Guide
In Platinum, Sheer Force changes the entire equation for Rampardos. The 495 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a cannon. Earthquake with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Mold Breaker is what you want on Rampardos. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.
At base 58 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Rampardos is a physical attacker with base 165 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a cannon.
In Platinum, run Earthquake, Firepunch, Head Smash, and Thunderpunch on Rampardos. Earthquake is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the cannon role with a mix of damage and utility.
