Stats & Training
The stat budget goes to damage. Speed and Attack carry the offense, Defense doesn't even come close. A Mount Pokemon on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve, worth 2 Speed EVs per KO.
Apparently Cyclizar has been allowing people to ride on its back since ancient times. Depictions of this have been found in 10,000-year-old murals.
It can sprint at over 70 mph while carrying a human. The rider’s body heat warms Cyclizar’s back and lifts the Pokémon’s spirit.
Cyclizar Weakness
Cyclizar's Dragon/Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Ice, Fighting, Dragon, and Fairy. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. Cyclizar leans offensive (base 95 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.

Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Cyclizar won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 10 types means it always has an effective option. Giga Impact and Hyper Beam anchor the STAB core.

Scarlet & Violet Cyclizar Locations
Finding Cyclizar at low spawn rates takes patience. 10 spots are available in mid-game routes, but the rate difference between them matters. Lock in the top one from the sorted list below.

Cyclizar Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Regenerator changes the entire equation for Cyclizar. The 501 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked A-Tier as a pivot. Rapid Spin with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Scarlet & Violet, watch for Cloyster (Ice), Blaziken (Fighting), and Garchomp (Dragon) when using Cyclizar. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. Cyclizar's base 121 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Regenerator is what you want on Cyclizar. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Shed Skin) work on paper but Regenerator is what makes Cyclizar worth using.
Base 121 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Cyclizar is a mixed attacker with base 95 Attack and 85 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a pivot.
For Scarlet & Violet, Cyclizar has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Ice, Fighting, and Dragon-type attackers hit hardest.
