Stats & Training
Suicune's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Balanced defenses with Defense doing the heavy lifting. And the slow 1.25M XP grind means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 3 Defense and Sp. Def EVs.
It races around the world to purify fouled water. It dashes away with the north wind.

Suicune Weakness
Electric and Grass moves hit Suicune for super-effective damage. The Water typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Suicune's overall bulk (100/115/115) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Electric, Grass |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Water, Ice, Steel |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
In Black 2 & White 2, Magnezone deals 71-84% with Thunderbolt.

How to Get Suicune in Black 2 & White 2
Suicune Guide
For the Black 2 & White 2 meta, At 580 BST, Suicune is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a balanced. Calm Mind with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, watch for Raikou (Electric) and Venusaur (Grass) when using Suicune. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Suicune has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Pressure increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. That's the one you want on Suicune. Inner Focus is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Suicune is a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 85 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many.
For Black 2 & White 2, Suicune has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Electric and Grass-type attackers hit hardest.
