Stats & Training
Natu's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, HP trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Common in the wild and worth 1 Sp. Atk EV, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It is extremely good at climbing tree trunks and likes to eat the new sprouts on the trees.
Because its wings aren’t yet fully grown, it has to hop to get around. It is always staring at something.
Natu Weakness
Electric, Ice, Rock, Ghost, and Dark moves hit Natu for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all.

Moves
Don't skip the egg moves. Natu picks up Drill Peck and Feather Dance only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Future Sight and Psychic while coverage across 8 types adds range.

Natu Guide
Get Natu to Xatu at level 25. At 320 BST, Natu is just the starting point.
Level 25 gets you Xatu. Not the fastest evolution, so consider Exp. Share or route grinding to speed it up.
In Sword & Shield, Natu does the job early-game if you need a Psychic/Flying type on your team. Evolve it into Xatu before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
You can find Natu in Sword & Shield. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 15 other games across the series.
Game Availability
Natu first appeared in Gold & Silver and has been available in 16 games across 9 generations. Obtainable through catching or hatching as a base form in most titles where it appears.
