Stats & Training
The stat line revolves around HP. Percentage recovery gets extra mileage here. Attack backs it up, though Speed doesn't pull its weight. Worth 1 HP EV on a slow 1.25M XP grind to max out.
It needs to consume its own weight in food every day. As far as flavor is concerned, it’s indifferent.
When it finds something that looks like it might be edible, it goes right ahead and swallows it whole. That’s why it gets fatter day by day.
Munchlax Weakness
Type-wise, Munchlax takes extra damage from Fighting. Ghost moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Thick Fat reduces Fire/Ice damage, further improving the defensive spread. Munchlax's special bulk (base 85 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
