Black & White Eelektross Best Moveset

Eelektross keeps momentum with Volt Switch, switching out after dealing damage or scouting. Leftovers gives it passive recovery each turn, max HP and Sp. Atk EVs let it hit hard on the way out, and Fire coverage prevents dead turns.

Eelektross Guide

  • In Black & White, Levitate changes the entire equation for Eelektross. The 515 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Flamethrower with Leftovers is the standard set.

  • In Black & White, Eelektross's biggest threats include Excadrill (Ground), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Levitate is what you want on Eelektross. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.

  • Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Eelektross is a special attacker with base 105 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.

  • In Black & White, the best way to handle Eelektross: Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Special attackers bypass its physical bulk.

Game Availability

Eelektross joined the series in Black & White and has been available in 9 titles so far. With 6 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
