Stats & Training
The stat bars tell the story: Attack carries everything and HP's dead weight. But this DNA Pokemon still yields 3 Attack and Sp. Atk and Speed EVs per fight on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
The DNA of a space virus underwent a sudden mutation upon exposure to a laser beam and resulted in Deoxys. The crystalline organ on this Pokémon’s chest appears to be its brain.
Deoxys emerged from a virus that came from space. It is highly intelligent and wields psychokinetic powers. This Pokémon shoots lasers from the crystalline organ on its chest.
Deoxys Weakness
Type-wise, Deoxys takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. At base 150 Speed, Deoxys outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.

Deoxys Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Deoxys is a Mythical Pokemon rated S-Tier. At 600 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. That 150 base Attack does the heavy lifting.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Deoxys's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Houndoom (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Deoxys's base 150 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Pressure is the go-to ability for Deoxys. It increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. It's Deoxys's only ability.
Deoxys is a mixed attacker with base 150 Attack and 150 Sp. Atk. Fragile, can't afford to take many hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 150 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, the best way to handle Deoxys: Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
