Stats & Training
Corsola's spread favors balanced defenses over offense. Sp. Def leads the defensive side, Speed eats the cost. Yields 2 Defense and Sp. Def EVs per defeat. Fast 800K XP curve to level.
They prefer unpolluted southern seas. Their coral branches lose their color and deteriorate in dirty water.

Black 2 & White 2 Evolution
Corsola evolves into Cursola. It's a two-stage chain with the method shown below. Plenty of partners for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are average hatch time. Evolving adds up to 120 stat points total. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed Corsola easily with 78 breeding partners from the Water1 and Water3 egg groups. Pass egg moves like Amnesia, Aqua Ring, Barrier and 10 more to offspring.
Black 2 & White 2 Corsola Best Moveset
The build centers on Stealth Rock and survivability. Leftovers means passive recovery each turn, and max HP and Defense EVs give Corsola the bulk to set up repeatedly. Regenerator adds another layer of staying power. Recover keeps it healthy between hits.

Moves
Breeding's the move. Amnesia and Aqua Ring give Corsola options it can't learn any other way, and coverage across 7 types already covers a decent range on top of Head Smash and Stone Edge. The egg moves push it further.

Black 2 & White 2 Corsola Locations
Corsola starts showing up in late-game water routes at high spawn rates across 4 encounter spots. The list below is sorted so you can pick what fits your current progress without scrolling through everything.
Best Locations to Catch Corsola in Black 2 & White 2
You can catch Corsola through 4 surfing and fishing encounters from Lv. 35-70, but availability differs between Black 2 and White 2. Some spots are exclusive to one version.
Corsola Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Corsola isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Cursola to unlock its full potential. At 390 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
In Black 2 & White 2, Corsola's biggest threats include Venusaur (Grass), Jolteon (Electric), and Hitmonlee (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Venusaur is the most dangerous since Grass moves deal 4x damage. Ground-type attackers are also a problem. At base 35 Speed, Corsola won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
In Black 2 & White 2, Run Regenerator on Corsola. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Corsola also gets Hustle and Natural Cure, but they don't compare.
In Black 2 & White 2, Regenerator is the hidden ability. It heals for 1/3 max HP upon switching out. Worth hunting for if you want Corsola to compete at a higher level.
In Black 2 & White 2, Corsola fills the balanced role. It's a physical attacker with base 55 Attack. Base 35 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Game Availability
Corsola first appeared in Gold & Silver and spans 17 games across 9 generations. It later gained a Galarian form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
