Stats & Training
Braixen's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Defense trails, 1 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 2 Sp. Atk EVs, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
It has a twig stuck in its tail. With friction from its tail fur, it sets the twig on fire and launches into battle.
When the twig is plucked from its tail, friction sets the twig alight. The flame is used to send signals to its allies.
Braixen Weakness
Type-wise, Braixen takes extra damage from Water, Ground, and Rock. 6 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that.

Braixen is the middle stage between Fennekin and Delphox. It's a three-stage line with one more evolution to go. For breeding, average hatch time with plenty of partners via one egg group. Sp.Atk has grown the most so far (+28), but there's still another 125 stats to gain in the final evolution. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Legends: Z-A Braixen Best Moveset
The physical wall spread is where Braixen earns its spot. Eviolite for a bulk boost that only works before full evolution, Bold nature for the right lean, and Wish handles sustain. Blaze does the rest without needing a move slot.

Moves
Braixen develops a solid moveset just through leveling. Flamethrower and Psychic show up naturally, and the progression handles both STAB and utility without leaning on TMs for the core attacks.

How to Get Braixen in Legends: Z-A
Braixen Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Braixen isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Delphox to unlock its full potential. At 409 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.
In Legends: Z-A, Braixen's biggest threats include Greninja (Water), Rhydon (Ground), and Aerodactyl (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Blaze is the go-to ability for Braixen. It strengthens fire moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. Its hidden ability Magician can work in specific setups.
In Legends: Z-A, Braixen fills the balanced role. It's a special attacker with base 90 Sp. Atk. Base 73 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many.
Game Availability
Introduced in X & Y, Braixen has appeared in 6 games across 5 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
