Not available in Yellow. The Caterpie line replaces Weedle in Viridian Forest entirely. Trade from Red or Blue if you want one, but Butterfree outperforms Beedrill in every situation that matters.

Weedle isn't catchable in Yellow. Catch one in Red or Blue, then trade it to Yellow.
For Yellow, you can run Weedle through the first few routes without issues. 195 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Kakuna as fast as you can.
