Hypno Weakness
Hypno has no type weaknesses thanks to its unique defensive typing. The upside? Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fighting, Psychic |
| 0x (Immune) | Ghost |
- Only 15 types exist — Dark, Steel, and Fairy are absent
- Ghost has no effect on Psychic (a known bug, fixed in Gen II)
- Special stat governs both offense and defense — no Sp.Atk / Sp.Def split

Y Hypno Best Moveset
Bulkier than Alakazam and Kadabra with 115 Special that tanks special hits while firing MovePsychic from a type nothing resists. MoveHypnosis puts threats to sleep before they attack, and the defensive stat line survives what the faster Psychic-types can't. Trades speed for staying power.

For Yellow, Hypno has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. -type attackers hit hardest.
