In Sword & Shield, Tyranitar can KO Vanillite with Stone Edge (447-526%). Blaziken threatens a KO with Close Combat (330-388%). Conkeldurr's Drain Punch also KOs at 231-272%.
Vanillite is the start of a three-stage chain. It evolves into Vanillish first, then eventually reaches Vanilluxe. For breeding, average hatch time with plenty of partners via one egg group. Evolving adds up to 230 stat points total. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
Breed Vanillite easily with 61 breeding partners from the Mineral egg group. Pass egg moves like Aurora Veil, Autotomize, Explosion and 3 more to offspring.
Ice pre-evo with 65 Sp. Atk and 44 Speed. AbilityWeak Armor drops Defense and raises Speed when hit physically, a gamble on stats too fragile to survive the triggering hit. The moveset is non-functional. Two evolutions from Vanilluxe needed.
Breeding's the move. Aurora Veil and Autotomize give Vanillite options it can't learn any other way, and Ghost and Normal coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Blizzard and Ice Beam. The egg moves push it further.
