SwSh Drednaw Best Moveset
AbilityStrong Jaw boosts bite moves 50% and MoveShell Smash provides +2 Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed in one turn. 115 Attack with Water/Rock TermStab behind both boosts creates a devastating physical moveset. Gigantamax form adds a unique Rock move. D-tier because 74 Speed pre-boost is slow and 4x Grass weakness is exploitable.

Base Stats
It responded to Gigantamax energy by becoming bipedal. First it comes crashing down on foes, and then it finishes them off with its massive jaws.
In the Galar region, there’s a tale about this Pokémon chewing up a mountain and using the rubble to stop a flood.
Drednaw Sword & Shield Guide
In Sword & Shield, Don't let Drednaw's 485 base stat total fool you. Swift Swim is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker. Stone Edge with Choice Band is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, Run Swift Swim on Drednaw. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Drednaw also gets Strong Jaw and Shell Armor, but they don't compare.
In Sword & Shield, Drednaw fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Base 74 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Sword & Shield, the core moveset is Stone Edge, Liquidation, Earthquake, and Rock Slide. Stone Edge leads at 0% usage. Liquidation provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Drednaw first appeared in Sword & Shield and spans 2 games across 3 generations. It later gained a Gigantamax form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
