Scolipede Black & White Guide
In Black & White, Scolipede looks average on paper at 475 BST. But Speed Boost is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier pivot on our tier list. Megahorn with Focus Sash is the standard set.
In Black & White, watch for Charizard (Fire), Aerodactyl (Flying), and Espeon (Psychic) when using Scolipede. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Rock-type attackers are also a problem. Scolipede's base 112 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Scolipede gets Speed Boost, Poison Point, and Swarm. But Speed Boost is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Scolipede is a physical attacker with base 90 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 112 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the pivot role.
In Black & White, run Megahorn, Earthquake, Poisonjab, and Swords Dance on Scolipede. Megahorn is the most common pick at 0% usage. Megahorn provides reliable STAB damage.
