Regirock Weakness
Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel moves hit Regirock for super-effective damage. The Rock typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Regirock's physical bulk (base 200 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

The level-up pool is slim, so TMs matter here. Regirock's Normal and Fighting coverage and more all comes from technical machines, built on top of Ancient Power and Rock Tomb for same-type damage. Explosion and Superpower are the payoff moves.

REGIROCK was sealed away by people long ago. If this POKéMON’s body is damaged in battle, it is said to seek out suitable rocks on its own to repair itself.
REGIROCK’s body is composed entirely of rocks. Recently, a study made the startling discovery that the rocks were all unearthed from different locations.
Regirock Ruby & Sapphire Guide
For the Ruby & Sapphire meta, At 580 BST, Regirock is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a tank. Explosion with Leftovers is the standard set.
Regirock is a static encounter at Route 111 in Ruby & Sapphire. Regirock appears at level 40. Prerequisite: Requires opening door from Sealed Chamber. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.
In Ruby & Sapphire, watch for Starmie (Water), Venusaur (Grass), and Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Regirock. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Ground and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Regirock has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Clear Body prevents stats from being lowered by other Pokémon. That's the one you want on Regirock. It's the only ability Regirock has.
Regirock is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the tank role.
Game Availability
Since Ruby & Sapphire, Regirock has appeared in 15 games. Legendary Pokemon like Regirock are usually found through story events or special post-game areas rather than random encounters.
