Raboot Sword & Shield Guide
Raboot is meant to evolve into Cinderace. At 420 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Libero is what you want on Raboot. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Blaze) work on paper but Libero is what makes Raboot worth using.
In Sword & Shield, Libero is the hidden ability. It libero changes the Pokémon's type to that of its previously used attack. Worth hunting for if you want Raboot to compete at a higher level.
Base 94 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Raboot is a physical attacker with base 86 Attack.
Game Availability
Raboot joined the series in Sword & Shield and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 3 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
