Cherrim Evolutions
Evolved from Cherubi. Cherrim is the final form in this two-stage line. A decent partner pool for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are average hatch time. Speed grew the most through evolution (+50 over Cherubi), and Cherrim peaks at 450 total stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Cherrim to get Cherubi eggs easily using 47 partners from the Fairy and Plant egg groups. Notable egg moves include Aromatherapy, Defense Curl, Flower Shield and 11 more.
XY Cherrim Best Moveset
AbilityFlower Gift boosts the team's Attack and Sp. Def by 50%% in 5-turn sun. The shorter sun window limits the support duration. The moveset exists as a team buff tool rather than a threat. 87 Sp. Atk fires Grass TermStab at moderate power.

During times of strong sunlight, its bud blooms, its petals open fully, and it becomes very active.
If it senses strong sunlight, it opens its folded petals to absorb the sun’s rays with its whole body.
Cherrim X & Y Guide
For X & Y, we rate Cherrim C-Tier: a niche pick in X & Y's meta. At 450 BST, the stats are spread pretty evenly. Sunnyday with Leftovers is the standard set.
Flower Gift increases friendly Pokémon's Attack and Special Defense to 1.5× during strong sunlight. That's the one you want on Cherrim. It's the only ability Cherrim has.
Base 85 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Cherrim is a special attacker with base 87 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In X & Y, run Sunnyday, Healing Wish, Energy Ball, and Aromatherapy on Cherrim. Sunnyday is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
