Charmander Evolutions
Three stages ahead. Charmander grows into Charmeleon, then pushes on to Charizard. Check the evolution methods below. For breeding, average hatch time with a decent partner pool via two egg groups. Evolving adds up to 225 stat points total. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed Charmander easily with 50 breeding partners from the Dragon and Monster egg groups. Pass egg moves like Air Cutter, Ancient Power, Beat Up and 11 more to offspring.
XY Charmander Best Moveset
Fire TermStab at 60 Sp. Atk still can't threaten anything, and AbilitySolar Power in 5-turn sun costs HP for a temporary boost. The moveset needs Charizard's stats. Two Mega forms changed the evolution's identity, but nothing helps this stage.

Moves List
Egg moves make a real difference. Charmander gets Air Cutter and Ancient Power exclusively through breeding, filling gaps that TMs and level-up can't touch. Coverage across 9 types rounds out the picture alongside Overheat and Flare Blitz.

The flame on its tail indicates Charmander’s life force. If it is healthy, the flame burns brightly.
From the time it is born, a flame burns at the tip of its tail. Its life would end if the flame were to go out.
