Arctovish Weakness
Arctovish's Water/Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Rock. Water Absorb grants an additional Water immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Arctovish's overall bulk (90/100/90) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

A small dot on the icon's corner marks the move as contact. That triggers abilities like Static, Flame Body, Rough Skin, or Iron Barbs, plus items like Rocky Helmet and Sticky Barb.
Tier (S to D)
Each move's competitive rank in RankedBoost's system. TM, Egg, and Tutor sort by tier by default (best first). On Level-Up, click the Tier header to do the same.

Base damage. Numbers shown in a type color include STAB (base × 1.5). Hover any colored number to see the math.

Base Stats
Bulk defines Arctovish's stat line. Defense and HP anchor the defensive side, but Speed can't keep up offensively. Tough to catch and worth 2 Defense EVs.
Though it’s able to capture prey by freezing its surroundings, it has trouble eating the prey afterward because its mouth is on top of its head.
The skin on its face is impervious to attack, but breathing difficulties made this Pokémon go extinct anyway.
Arctovish Sword & Shield Guide
In Sword & Shield, Slush Rush changes the entire equation for Arctovish. The 505 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier. Fishiousrend with Life Orb is the standard set.
Slush Rush is what you want on Arctovish. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Water Absorb, Ice Body) work on paper but Slush Rush is what makes Arctovish worth using.
At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Arctovish is a mixed attacker with base 90 Attack and 80 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
In Sword & Shield, run Fishiousrend, Iciclecrash, Freezedry, and Substitute on Arctovish. Fishiousrend is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
