Arctovish Best Moveset
Water/Ice with AbilityStrong Jaw boosting MoveFishious Rend like Dracovish, but 55 Speed means the first-turn doubling rarely triggers. AbilitySlush Rush from the hidden slot fixes the Speed in hail. The moveset has theoretical power but E-tier because the Speed condition for Fishious Rend is much harder to meet.
Arctovish saw minimal competitive use in Gen VIII (Sword & Shield / BDSP). This was Arctovish's competitive peak. Its most popular set ran Slushrush with Life Orb, favoring a Naive nature.

Arctovish Weakness
Arctovish's Water/Ice typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Grass, Fighting, and Rock. Water Absorb grants an additional Water immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Arctovish's overall bulk (90/100/90) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.
Base Stats
Bulk defines Arctovish's stat line. Defense and HP anchor the defensive side, but Speed can't keep up offensively. Tough to catch and worth 2 Defense EVs.
The skin on its face is impervious to attack, but breathing difficulties made this Pokémon go extinct anyway.
Arctovish Guide
Slush Rush changes the entire equation for Arctovish. The 505 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier.
Slush Rush is what you want on Arctovish. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Water Absorb, Ice Body) work on paper but Slush Rush is what makes Arctovish worth using.
At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Arctovish is a mixed attacker with base 90 Attack and 80 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
Run Fishiousrend, Iciclecrash, Psychic Fangs, and Superfang on Arctovish. Fishiousrend is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the balanced role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Arctovish joined the series in Sword & Shield and has been available in 1 titles so far. With 3 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
