You won't find a real weakness in Zubat's stat line. It's well-rounded for the Bat Pokemon, and what it does with that depends on moveset and items. Yields 1 Speed stat exp, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Emits ultrasonic cries while it flies. They act as a sonar used to check for objects in its way.

Electric, Ice, Psychic, and Rock moves hit Zubat for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all.

Level 22 gets you Golbat. Not the fastest evolution, so consider Exp. Share or route grinding to speed it up.
In Yellow, For a casual playthrough, Zubat works as a placeholder. Poison/Flying coverage is useful early. The real payoff is Golbat. That's where the stats start mattering.
