Venipede Guide

  • Whirlipede at level 22 is the mid-stage. Push through to Scolipede at level 30 for the final form. 260 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 22 gets you Whirlipede. Not the fastest evolution, so consider Exp. Share or route grinding to speed it up.

  • In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Venipede does the job early-game if you need a Bug/Poison type on your team. Evolve it into Whirlipede before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.

  • You can find Venipede in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 7 other games across the series.

Game Availability

Introduced in Black & White, Venipede has appeared in 8 games across 6 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
