Stats & Training
Everything pushes toward physical damage here. Staraptor's Attack does the work, Sp. Atk pays the price. But you're still getting 3 Attack EVs per KO. Tough to catch, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
It has left the flock, having gained strength enough to survive on its own. The astounding force with which Staraptor flies through the air allows it to carry away large, burly targets.
Staraptor Weakness
Type-wise, Staraptor takes extra damage from Electric, Ice, and Rock. Ground and Ghost moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. Staraptor leans offensive (base 120 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.

A compact toolkit overall. The offense runs through Giga Impact and Hyper Beam for Staraptor, with Fighting and Ghost coverage doing what it can. Don't expect versatility from this one.

Staraptor Guide
In Legends: Arceus, Staraptor looks average on paper at 485 BST. But Intimidate is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier sweeper on our tier list. Bravebird with Choice Band is the standard set.
Staraptor gets Intimidate and Reckless. But Intimidate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 100 Speed, Intimidate gives Staraptor an edge before opponents can react.
Staraptor is leaning toward the physical side (base 120 Attack). Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
For Legends: Arceus, the core moveset is Bravebird, Close Combat, Double Edge, and U Turn. Bravebird leads at 25% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
