Stats & Training
Skuntank's spread is anchored by HP, with balanced defenses backing it up. Sp. Def is the clear weak point. Worth 2 HP EVs per KO, and the medium-fast 1M XP curve keeps leveling painless.
It attacks by spraying a horribly smelly fluid from the tip of its tail. Attacks from above confound it.
Skuntank Weakness
Skuntank's Poison/Dark typing leaves it vulnerable to Ground. It shrugs off Psychic-type attacks completely. It resists 4 types, giving it decent defensive coverage. With 103 HP and balanced defenses, Skuntank can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Ground |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Grass, Poison, Ghost, Dark |
| 0x (Immune) | Psychic |
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
In Platinum, Flygon can KO Skuntank with Earthquake (109-129%).
