Moves

Don't skip the egg moves. Seedot picks up Defog and Leech Seed only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Solar Beam and Energy Ball while Normal and Ghost coverage and more adds range.

Seedot Guide

  • Nuzleaf at level 14 is the mid-stage. Push through to Shiftry using a Leaf Stone for the final form. 220 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 14 gets you Nuzleaf. Quick enough that Seedot barely slows you down.

  • In Sword & Shield, Seedot does the job early-game if you need a Grass type on your team. Evolve it into Nuzleaf before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.

  • You can find Seedot in Sword & Shield. The Locations section has the full breakdown of routes and encounter details. It also appears in 14 other games across the series.

Game Availability

Seedot first appeared in Ruby & Sapphire and has been available in 15 games across 8 generations. Obtainable through catching or hatching as a base form in most titles where it appears.
