Stats & Training
Everything pushes toward special damage here. Ribombee's Speed does the work, Attack pays the price. But you're still getting 2 Speed EVs per KO. Moderately hard to find, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It rolls up pollen into puffs. It makes many different varieties, some used as food and others used in battle.
Some of Ribombee’s pollen puffs are highly nutritious. They are sometimes sold as supplements.
Ribombee Weakness
Ribombee's Bug/Fairy typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Poison, Flying, Rock, and Steel. It shrugs off Dragon-type attacks completely. The Bug/Fairy typing picks up 5 resistances to work with. At base 124 Speed, Ribombee outspeeds most threats and doesn't need to tank what it can outrun.

Ribombee Guide
In Sun & Moon, Ribombee works as a pivot with 464 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in Sun & Moon's meta. Sticky Web with Focus Sash is the standard set.
In Sun & Moon, watch for Infernape (Fire), Gengar (Poison), and Aerodactyl (Flying) when using Ribombee. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Rock and Steel-type attackers are also a problem.
