Stats & Training
Mewtwo's built around special offense. Sp. Atk leads the charge, Defense pays for it. Near-impossible to catch, worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
A POKéMON that was created by genetic manipulation. However, even though the scientific power of humans made its body, they failed to give it a warm heart.
Mewtwo Weakness
Type-wise, Mewtwo takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Mewtwo's overall bulk (106/90/90) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

In Emerald, Mewtwo's biggest threats include Scyther (Bug), Misdreavus (Ghost), and Tyranitar (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves.
Pressure is the go-to ability for Mewtwo. It increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. Its hidden ability Unnerve can work in specific setups.
In Emerald, Mewtwo fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 154 Sp. Atk. Base 130 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
