Stats & Training
Sp. Atk and HP carry most of Lunatone's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a fast 800K XP curve.

How to Get Lunatone in Sun & Moon
Lunatone Guide
In Sun & Moon, Levitate changes the entire equation for Lunatone. The 460 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked D-Tier.
Levitate is what you want on Lunatone. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.
Base 70 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Lunatone is a special attacker with base 95 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Sun & Moon, Lunatone has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Water, Grass, and Ground-type attackers hit hardest.
Game Availability
Available in 14 titles since its debut in Ruby & Sapphire, Lunatone spans 8 generations of Pokemon games. It's accessible through wild encounters in a solid number of games.
