Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Lampent's spread. It leans special with Sp. Atk out front. And you'll get 2 Sp. Atk EVs per KO for it. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
This Pokémon appears just before someone passes away, so it’s feared as an emissary of death.
It lurks in cities, pretending to be a lamp. Once it finds someone whose death is near, it will trail quietly after them.
Lampent Weakness
Lampent is weak to Water, Ground, Rock, Ghost, and Dark. On the flip side, it's immune to Normal and Fighting-type moves entirely. It resists 7 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely. Flash Fire grants an additional Fire immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.

How to Evolve
Legends: Z-A Lampent Best Moveset
Still unevolved, still relevant. Lampent's Eviolite bulk with max HP and Sp. Atk EVs creates a defensive profile that punches above its stage. Flashfire adds passive value. Shadow Ball gives it offensive presence.

Moves
The level-up pool tells the story here. Lampent learns Flamethrower and Overheat naturally, plus enough variety that TMs feel like bonuses. Dark and Grass coverage and more extends the reach beyond that.

How to Get Lampent in Legends: Z-A
Lampent isn't available in the wild in Legends: Z-A. Start by transferring Litwick from Black, Black 2, or Sword. The evolution path from Litwick to Lampent is covered in the steps below.
Lampent Guide
At 370 BST, Lampent is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Chandelure before bringing it to any serious fight.
In Legends: Z-A, Litwick evolves into Lampent at level 41. Lampent evolves into Chandelure using a Dusk Stone. Lampent is a middle-stage evolution in the Litwick line.
Lampent gets Flash Fire, Flame Body, and Infiltrator. But Flash Fire is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Lampent is a special attacker with base 95 Sp. Atk. Speed tells the real story. At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often.
Game Availability
Since Black & White, Lampent has been obtainable in 9 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Lampent has appeared steadily across every generation since.
