Stats & Training
Raw HP carries Entei's bulk more than the defenses do. Sp. Def barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A near-impossible to catch Volcano Pokemon that yields 3 HP and Attack EVs on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
It is said that when it roars, a volcano erupts somewhere around the globe.

Moves
TMs carry this one. Entei learns Eruption and Overheat naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Dark and beyond give it real matchup play.

Entei Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Entei is a Legendary Pokemon rated A-Tier. At 580 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. Extreme Speed with Choice Band is the standard set.
Pressure is the go-to ability for Entei. It increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. Its hidden ability Inner Focus can work in specific setups.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Entei is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Scarlet & Violet, the best way to handle Entei: Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
