Stats & Training
The stat line revolves around Attack. Percentage recovery gets extra mileage here. HP backs it up, though Defense doesn't pull its weight. Worth 3 Attack EVs on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve to max out.

How to Get Emboar in Black 2 & White 2
Emboar doesn't appear wild. Catch Tepig instead, it shows up but it's a rare spawn. Evolve it at level 36 to get Emboar. The 3-stage chain is mapped in the step cards below.
Emboar Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Emboar works as a wallbreaker with 528 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in Black 2 & White 2's meta. Wild Charge with Choice Band is the standard set.
Blaze is the go-to ability for Emboar. It strengthens fire moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less. Its hidden ability Reckless can work in specific setups.
Emboar is a physical attacker with base 123 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. Fits the wallbreaker role.
In Black 2 & White 2, the best way to handle Emboar: Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Special attackers bypass its physical bulk.
Game Availability
Since Black & White, Emboar has been obtainable in 8 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Emboar has appeared steadily across every generation since.
