Stats & Training
The stat bars tell the story: Sp. Atk carries everything and Speed's dead weight. But this Mitosis Pokemon still yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs per fight on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Since they have two divided brains, at times they suddenly try to take two different actions at once.
When their two divided brains think the same thoughts, their psychic power is maximized.
Duosion Weakness
Type-wise, Duosion takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Not too many gaps in the chart, 3 weaknesses to account for.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Bug, Ghost, Dark |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fighting, Psychic |
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Weavile can KO Duosion with Knock Off (193-227%). Gengar threatens a KO with Shadow Ball (219-258%). Volcarona's Flamethrower also KOs at 93-110%.

Moves
The egg pool carries weight here. Acid Armor and Astonish aren't available any other way for Duosion, and they meaningfully change what it threatens. Stack those on top of Future Sight and Dream Eater for solid options.

Duosion Guide
At 370 BST, Duosion is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Reuniclus before bringing it to any serious fight.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Duosion's biggest threats include Heracross (Bug), Chandelure (Ghost), and Tyranitar (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. At base 30 Speed, Duosion won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Duosion gets Magic Guard, Overcoat, and Regenerator. But Magic Guard is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Regenerator is the hidden ability. It heals for 1/3 max HP upon switching out. Worth hunting for if you want Duosion to compete at a higher level.
Game Availability
Since Black & White, Duosion has been obtainable in 8 games. A Generation 5 debut means a shorter history, but Duosion has appeared steadily across every generation since.
