  • Grotle at level 18 is the mid-stage. Push through to Torterra at level 32 for the final form. 318 BST right now won't cut it long-term.

  • Level 18 gets you Grotle. Quick enough that Turtwig barely slows you down.

  • In Black & White, Turtwig does the job early-game if you need a Grass type on your team. Evolve it into Grotle before the later gyms and it holds up fine through the story.
