Stats & Training
Togetic's built to absorb hits, not race for knockouts. Special bulk with Sp. Def doing the heavy lifting. And the fast 800K XP curve means it won't take forever to bring up, worth 2 Sp. Def EVs.
It is said to appear in front of kindly people to scatter a glowing down called joy dust.

Togetic Weakness
Togetic is weak to Electric, Ice, Poison, Rock, and Steel. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Dragon-type moves entirely. The Fairy/Flying typing picks up 4 resistances to work with.

Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Evolution
Togetic connects Togepi to Togekiss in this chain. At least one evolution here needs an evolution item. Sp.Atk has grown the most so far (+40), but there's still another 140 stats to gain in the final evolution. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.

The TM pool is where it gets interesting. Coverage across 11 types means almost nothing walls Togetic cleanly, with Fly and Dazzling Gleam anchoring the STAB side. Matchup flexibility isn't a problem.

Togetic Guide
At 405 BST, Togetic is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Togekiss before bringing it to any serious fight.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Togetic's biggest threats include Jolteon (Electric), Cloyster (Ice), and Nidoking (Poison), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Rock and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. At base 40 Speed, Togetic won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Hustle is the go-to ability for Togetic. It strengthens physical moves to inflict 1.5× damage, but decreases their accuracy to 0.8×. Its hidden ability Super Luck can work in specific setups. Serene Grace is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
Togetic is leaning toward the special side (base 80 Sp. Atk). Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 40 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the trick room role.
Game Availability
Since Gold & Silver, Togetic has been in 17 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
