In Scarlet & Violet, Pawmot looks average on paper at 490 BST. But Natural Cure is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. A-Tier sweeper on our tier list. Close Combat with Life Orb is the standard set.
Pawmot gets Natural Cure, Volt Absorb, and Iron Fist. But Natural Cure is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 105 Speed, Natural Cure gives Pawmot an edge before opponents can react.
Pawmot is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 105 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
For Scarlet & Violet, Pawmot has answers, but so do you. Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
